So this morning I got a loud knock on the door. I ran to it like it was xmas! It was the UPS guy with a large package for me. I signed and cut open the box! Staring at me in the face was a brand new set of v&h black short shots....instant drool.....I ordered them almost 2 weeks ago from jpcycles. but on top of the the pipes the paperword said "yadda yadda yadda for 1200 sportster" I drive a 2011 Bob commence heart break and violin music now....I called JP and they were very accommodating. I refused to pay for shipping on the pipes back to them, and they generated a shipping label and scheduled a time for the UPS guy to come back to reclaim the box. In the mean time I went out on a short ride with a few friends to blow off some steam.... We ended up stopping at a bar and grill that always has a lot full of bikes (Mulligans in El Paso if any of you are down here). Once we ate and through back a few beers for jesus we proceeded to leave...thats when I saw them.... A fat bob rolled in with a sexy set of pipes that looked alot like shortshots...but they were turned out....The owner said he just bought the bike and didn't know what kind they were...Sooo here I am now trying to find a pair of pipes that are designed like the short shots, but turned out? Anyone have any ideas as to who makes them? I haven't been this excited about anything since I bought the bike! I appreciate the input!
