Default streetbob rear fork

Will the rear shocks bottom out before the rear fork makes contact with the rear frame members? On the StreetBob the the rear fork has reliefs cut out in to compensate for the rear frame members. But the tolerance have me thinking what if. Surely HD has placed rear shock on this model that will bottom out before this happens.

I'm running eleven inch shocks and have had no problems. Think the tire would hit the fender before any frame members could rub.Not sure what you're refering to anyway. Are you talking about the swing arm contacting the front of the rear fender?Again, don't think you will have any problems.

Good Luck

Tom

The swingarm has two relief cuts in it for the rear frame members to pass, they r cut at an angle to follow the frame members. The tolerance between the two is close. I would think the shock would bottom out first. I hope
