Thanks for all the comments, positive words are always appreciated. :-)

I will definitely try marking the area first to apply the other side, this one I had to stick it lightly, then pull it off like 3 times to get it right, which was a pain. Since this badge (unlike the old one) is solid metal and heavy, it didn't bend, which is a good thing.

I got the one badge off with no damage to it, so if I get the other one off with no issue and anyone wants them (the original 2009 badges), PM me..

Thanks, it was a toss up between those and the ones below, but I see them on alot of bikes already, so I figured I would go with something different..

hey dave, nice job i like em. i've got a couple yamaha v-star badges laying around. maybe you could use them on your battery box.lol

Looks great. I was actually thinking of getting those, but I opted for badges that had round lines. I hear you too on the '60-'61 year badges, see lots of guys are using those. Good choice!
