Default installing apes

Im in the process of installing my apes and have a question about the brake line, do i just unbolt it and bolt the new one on or do i have to drain it first. And yes i do have a manual and have read it im just alittle stumped at this point and would like a little help. Thanks

You don't have to drain first clay.

Just be real sure to protect paint, tires chrome, EVERYTHING from drippage.

There will be some.

I would recommend draining it.

Disconnect it phrom the caliper, then loosen the cap on the MC and let gravity take it's course. Then disconnect it phrom the MC. Hook the new one up, and bleed it. Really not to difficult, and it's better then taking a chance getting brake phluid on yer paint.

Cool, thanks that answers it for me. I am almost done and cant wait to see it when its all done. I sure do like the look of these bars.
