Oh I hear ya, I've had thunderheaders for years.. I think the way the rear pipe wraps to the front and back again, it builds up a lot of heat right in that spot and funnels up the right leg and into the "boys" ... my ONLY complaint with the T-headers...
I love my Thunderheader, but I am taking a break from the noise right now. Wait until you get the flow going above 3800-4000 RPM. HOLD ON!!! It is like the bike transforms. Talking 95 in 3rd gear, and the wheels don't feel like they are on the road.
