Sorry for the late reply...my whole family has been sick then I got it BAD right before my Elk hunting trip. Ruined that.

So, I was stuck home on a 4 day weekend...sick and it's raining. Today, I feel better and the rain stopped long enough to get a short 3 mile ride in.

I don't know if it was the combo of the thunderheader and my updated canned map but the bike pulls harder than ever now. It seems the power is smoother, more linear if you will, maybe less of a torque dip? Anyway, it almost seems like the TH is a bit quieter than my Rinehart as well. However, the sound of the TH is MUCH deeper, very aggressive. I LOVE it.

I can't wait to throw some cams in! I think I might have made up my cam choice as well. Pretty set on some TW555's. They sound ideal for my riding style.

Figured I'd update the thread.

Hey that looks awesome, I didn't know they came like that. Did you have the pipe coated custom. Question for you, also others can answer too, how did you get the lower mid mounting bracket on the t-header that came with the pipe, i couldn't seem to figure out how to put mine on...

I bought the pipe used, the PO had it coated by Jet Hot coatings...I "think" they called it titanium finish. I think it gives it a very raw, industrial look...all business which is what attracted me to this particular TH in the first place, was looking for a black one.

The bracket goes on...just gotta spread it to get it over the 02 port.

Thank you! I'm SUPER impressed so far, I can understand why the strong following for this pipe now, I really liked the Rinehart before...but this pipe makes me smile.

I just can't wait for the engine to back up the bark it makes, I wanna crack the throttle in 2nd and lift that front wheel.

Looks great. I don't think I'll ever use anything but a Thunderheader.
