Take a look at how the older Dyns'a had the rear pegs mounted to the frame. You can easily fabricate those mounts. I do not know why they went to this stupid design. Guess they thought only one person would be riding the Dyna for any length of time.
I was asking my girl what I could do to make the ride more comfortable for her and I addressed this question, but it doesn't seem to bother her...I have Kury knock-offs for her and the same style with heel rests for me. I love them and they are cheap!
I will have to ask the wife her opinion. but then i would just take her to the dealer and put her on the back af a street glide and tell her problem solved, hahahaa
I can't offer much else but for what it's worth I had the Kury small iso pegs and my passenger complained about vibration. My dealer suggested getting the heaviest peg I could find (which turned out to be the large iso pegs, even heavier than mini boards) and getting the passenger to wear a heavy souled boot, which she wasn't doing. That's about the time my passenger and I went our seperate ways so I haven't had to chance to test out the changes.

I feel your pain--my wife complains too. If the worst comes to the worst, you could always try adding progressive springs to the front forks and buying better rears springs such as Ohlins. Wont stop the engine vibrating but at least will smooth out the road vibs.
I purchased the mini-floor boards to provide a better ride for my passenger. She was complaining of heat from the pipes on my Street Bob with just the pegs. Vibrations are reduced and she has more "peg" to put her boots on protecting her from the hot pipes.
I had a close look today at my bike, the frame behind the battery cover is a changing shape. The top spring mounting is the only accessable fixed point. You could make a bracket to come off that quite easily. Powder coat it black and it would hardly be noticeable
