Low rider has what feels like a reach seat and lower bars, more chrome, a tachometer and cast wheels that allow tubeless tires to be run. Also if these are used bikes, look for after market changes you might like or not. Some of these things, if you want to change them,.. can add up quickly. $$
I had an 08 SB which I loved....The hole black vs chrome thing.....I chose The SB when I bought new. Totaled in June of this year. Bought an 07 Low Rider in August. It was a great deal, the bike had basically no mileage and the price was right. I love my new ride, but I really missed my SB. I would have probably bought another SB as I liked the whole Black theme, but there were none available in my price range. I thought I had settled to soon on the 07 but I have really grown to love this one. The real difference is Black vs. Chrome. They both had 96" motors and 6 speed tranny's. I can change the bars, exhaust , paint and what ever other parts I wanted to. The more I ride the Low Rider I know that I had made the right choice. Both bikes are awesome, it really boils down to preference, Chrome vs. Black....That is really the only decision...and it is a tough one...
Me? Low Rider. They don't make them anymore and its easier to convert to a street bob than converting a street bob to a low rider (IF you choose to).
