Yes, and it's something that needs to be re-applied from time to time depending on how much you ride. I'm using the purpose made paint from J&P Cycle, it's here: http://www.jpcycles.com/product/450-307 but I've heard folks also use high temp paints designed for grills and barbecues, so I might give that a try the next time.
