Look at the HP curve of the 2-1, its still making HP at red line while the 2-2 is flat and its torque is falling on its face.

Are you serious? 20%?? What a joke! I should have pulled my 2-2 off my 95" that was making 100hp and threw on a 2-1....I would have had 120hp....Would have been much cheaper than going to a 107"!!

Take any two bikes...NEW bikes, put both on a dyno and you WILL get different numbers...especially 1 month apart and 10* different temps like your dyno sheets.....Come back with back to back runs same day, same bike, two reputible exhausts and SHOW me your 20% difference!

Exactly what exhausts are you using?

Swap the exhausts between the two bikes and run them again, bet you dont see a 20% difference the other way.

Lets not get into a flame war here. The OP just wants opinions. Theres not a fool on this board who thinks ANY exhaust adds a 20% increase in power so lets just drop it and answer the OP. I myself prefer 2 into 2's as I think they sound better, and I like the style.

It's obvious there is one person who thinks that. And giving the OP false info would be worse than a so-called flame war cluttering up the thread.

I felt a difference when switching to a 2-1 over the 2-2, but the 2-2 were wide open with BCT baffles in them. Granted, it was not a HUGE difference, but I picked up a bunch on the bottom and in the mid and yes, to me that is where I ride my bike 99% of the time so worth while.

I also enjoyed the sound of a good 2-1 over the 2-2....

I recently just switched again to a Thunderheader and the sound is badass IMHO...music to my ears and that is all I care about.

Listen to some different bikes with different setups, buy what looks good to you and what sounds good to YOU. The rest is opinion in the end.

You'll see most of the builders recommending a good 2-1 when building an engine, I think even though a 2-2 will have a higher horse on the top, unless your a dyno racer or hitting the 1/4 mile track...you won't be riding your bike on the street at 4.5k rpm and up. Then again, you might!

I can't wait to build my engine and change the exhaust tone once again!
