2 into 2 or 2 into 1 exhaust??
Take any two bikes...NEW bikes, put both on a dyno and you WILL get different numbers...especially 1 month apart and 10* different temps like your dyno sheets.....Come back with back to back runs same day, same bike, two reputible exhausts and SHOW me your 20% difference!
Exactly what exhausts are you using?
Swap the exhausts between the two bikes and run them again, bet you dont see a 20% difference the other way.

I also enjoyed the sound of a good 2-1 over the 2-2....
I recently just switched again to a Thunderheader and the sound is badass IMHO...music to my ears and that is all I care about.
Listen to some different bikes with different setups, buy what looks good to you and what sounds good to YOU. The rest is opinion in the end.
You'll see most of the builders recommending a good 2-1 when building an engine, I think even though a 2-2 will have a higher horse on the top, unless your a dyno racer or hitting the 1/4 mile track...you won't be riding your bike on the street at 4.5k rpm and up. Then again, you might!
I can't wait to build my engine and change the exhaust tone once again!
