Question

16" apes

i am looking at buying a 2006 sportster 1200 and it has 16" ape hangers with braided lines. I do not want the ape hangers, but i have a friend with a 2001 wide glide that wants 16" apes. Does anyone know if the bars and lines would work on his bike.

Throttle/Idle cable may work, Banjos fittings on the mastercyclinder may be the wrong size and the clutch cable runs to the left side of a sportster, unlike the Wide Glide which is on the right side so length may be off. I may be wrong.

Im not sure about that but if you find out they will fit an 05 super glide let me know. Thats the set up i want.
