Wow someone dug this out of the archives, havnt seen this post in a long time. well thats good because there is tons of new models and exhaust now. so start updating everyone. jackyl
I struggled with the side shots versus short shots for weeks. Went with the latter but I'm still undecided. Guess I need another Street Bob.
Yeah me to. The Shortshots were hard for me to turn away from since so many riders I've seen use them and I really liked the way their bikes scream. Plus the price was very reasonable. Much more affordable than the other options.
I was so overwhelmed trying to choose a set from V&H that I never even bothered to look at other manufacturers.
I liked the looks of the factory exhaust on my 2011 superglide, so i put American Coustom muflers on my glide. sound great. They put new bafles in the orig. muflers.

I didn't either. A friend had shorties on his Wide Glide and the music that they made kept me from looking at other manufacturers. I'm sure there are others out there that are at least equal in terms of price, craftsmanship, performance, and aesthetics, but V&H was a known entity for me. I'll probably slap them on my next bike too.

I have nothing to add, but am always looking for inspiration.
