2010 Dyna Fat Bob Gas Caps

Ok, so I have a question about the all so attractive gas caps on my Fat Bob. On the left- the one with the gauge in it, can I take that out and replace it with a standard gas cap? I am looking at the RSD line to compliment my PM package. Little help if you please....THANKS!!!

No reason why not except that its a push fit, so standard screw-in caps won't fit.

So are all the RSD gas caps push fit? Does anyone have them that can provide some details on their fit and function?

The left one is a gauge only, it doesn't screw in like the gas fill but I would think RSD would have something to replace it with, others do.

I may just go with the HD flush mount black caps. OEM fit, no issues and it works.

look at my post history, you can get a dummy cap that just as one programmable "low fuel" led that is amber. It's a set from Drag Specialties. They also sell a just a blank dummy cap for the left side, but if you don't have anything connected to the fuel gauge your dummy light on your spedo will be on all the time.
