Fat Bob V&H Big Shots Staggered v. Python Staggered Duals
Getting closer to picking pipes.
I like the old school look of the V&H Big Shots Staggered and the Python Staggered Duals and the new school performance through the collectors that make them look 2 into 2 when they are really 2-1.
Anybody have any experience with either of these pipes? Sound, performance, quality, customer service, personal preference etc?
I can't comment on customer service because I bought my big shots staggered second hand but I can say they are the sweetest sounding pipes I've ever heard. Throw a set of big city thunder baffles in 'em and listen to the car alarms wail! In all seriousness, the big shots were a pretty versatile pipe for a 2-2/2-1 hybrid. Decent performance and wide range of sound depending on which baffles you choose. V&H quality is some of the best out there IMO. I believe the Pythons are essentially the same pipe, as Vance & Hines owns Python I believe. I can't wait to dump the long shots on my wide glide for a set of bss. I miss those pipes.
Can't comment on them, but the V&H Black BSS are what I am going to go with when I can afford them. I think the Pythons only come chrome and you can change tips on the V&H.
