OK how much is a 2007 96CI motor worth. just have to figure out how to come up with the rest of the cash. LOL That is one item on my Dream/Wish list.
Ya know...if you could swing 2500 or so out of your engine (not sure if it's possible), the crate engine is a serious bargin compared to trying to duplicate the numbers in build.....if it only cost a few grand out of pocket...
read that some dealers are giving them away with a 20% discount.
By the time you do cams/headwork and a big bore.....you'd be damn close.
Problem with that theroy is that nobody is paying that much for the 96's. I think they are going for about $1500 around here. Plus you might have a ticking time bomb. These motors are still pretty new for me to try and jump on the band wagon. I dont think they offer a warranty on them for over the counter purchase.

I was looking for a 96" to build while I rode and could not find one that I thought was even close to reasonable for a used engine. When my engine needs a build this 120 may be a great option, I too will wait to see if these have decent longevity. Did they ever fix the problems with the 110s, wasn't there an oil leak problem?
