I have seen a few post here and there with mention of the removal of the the front fender. I wanted to get specific, as it applies to a FatBob. I am considering removing the fender, just for a different look once the new wheels are on. I know the only benefit is cosmetic, so what are the downfalls of the removal?

NONE..... REMOVE IT........ Downfalls well lets say cons are rooster tail so that sucks when it rains out, debris hit your face instead of the fender lol not really I mean could happen but anything it kicks up comes your way.. The Fat Bob has a pretty stout fork so you could invest in a fork brace but not needed.. I have never run a front fender on any of my bikes ever.. The only thing I have added was a fork brace here is a nice one its the Martin Bros fork brace here is a pic this is the chopper I built and I had a nice long fork so i decided to add a brace. But I love the look with no fender..
Los- gotcha. figured that was the extent of it. I am going to go with no brace, like the look of it. Thanks!
Yeah like I said I dont run a brace or any bilnkers or any gauges soon or maybe even no front brake soon.. dont listen to me I make all my decision when I am drunk.....
