I myself was a convert from sport bikes, so I know exactly how you feel.
Don't get rid of that full face helmet yet. I took mine out just last week when it was a balmy 48 degrees here in Nebraska. Sure glad I still had it.

Hey thanks again guys! made a trip to the "mens department" last night. I needed a new tail light bulb. Also changed out my spark plugs. Walked away under $10 but I had to keep my head down and not look at anything else!

Welcome from California. I am also new to the cruiser game and come from sport bikes too. Be careful man, the "fever" is terribly contagious and I have developed full blown symptoms as well. To quote a man that welcomed me, "Enjoy poverty my friend, and ride safe"
