My misses 08 FatBob had this when we bought her bike used.
We didnt get an owners manual or any information on the smart.
Its giving us fits. iThe past couple days the bike will not start. We have to turn the ignition on and off several times before we can get the bike to crank. Sometimes this takes 5+ minutes. Im afraid its going to leave her stranded.
Any idea how to reset the manual arm/disarm, we dont know the code?
It should be an easy fix. Replace the battery in the key fob. I had a problem where my fob sometimes would disarm and the bike would start and sometimes would require to go in and out of range a couple of times to disarm. Its pretty easy to replace just open the fob with a screwdriver. I carry an extra battery in my saddlebags just in case.

Is there any troubleshooting we can perform?
Anyone have the instructions for this thing?
Thanks
I only got one fob with my Streetglide and wanted another. I got one at my dealer and thought i would program it. You can't program the new one but you can see what the code is current on your bike, at least i could in my S G. Instruction on how to change the code is in the owners manual . I too didn't have an O maual so i got one for $20 something. Dealer programmed the new fob for $ 0 .
