Default Camshaft upgrade

I have read a lot here and there about camshaft upgrades, which is the best for the stock 96" and where is the best place to get one? Better yet, what is the first engine upgrade I should do (apart from AC and pipes)? Also, what are your opinions on the S&S 106" top end upgrade kit?

Do a search for Wood's TW-555 . There is a thread started in the bagger section that has a TON of info . Also , FuelMoto has a 107" kit that comes with those cams . Again , do a search ot two here on the forum , and you'll find more info than you care to read . BTW....I love your FXD ! What kind of bars are they ?

had mine trued and welded with a lefty bearing, the timpkin bearing is very $$$ and not really needed unless you are pushing 135hp+

Cycle Rama 575 or Wood TW 5-6 are two with high lift and an early intake valve close, they won't bleed off too much compression.

Depends on what kind of riding you want to do.... do you want low end grunt, or mid-range roll- on power?

Very next step though before you re-cam it..... get a tuner.

I'm looking into the SE 259E's with the CNC heads. I have the work-up sheet at a friends who works in parts a a dealer, so I can get the parts at his cost.
