Just installed a Joker Machine tail light and plate assemble. It's a nice peace of chrome. I think it cleans up the back of the bike enough. I always had a hard time with the look of the big plate assembly ( IMHO). Anyway I opted for this route. I considered moving the plate to the swing arm, but ultimately decided on this. It wasn't cheep by no means, but was easy to adapt to Harley's plug in module.
Thanks for posting those pictures.
I have an 06 Glide and hate that tailight/plate combo with a passion.Ive seen those listed for a Softtail but wasnt sure if they would fit the fender on the glide.Posted on a few forums and never got an answer back.

I saw Joker Machine had an 06 Softail on there site. I didn't notice if they have the Wideglide yet. The two are diffrent in the way they bolt up to the fender. Well atleast for the 04 and 05 model's. My setup has a bolt and stud which keeps it secured to the fender.
Very cool man. Seems like us Jersey guys are already getting a little antsy waiting for the winter time so we can spend money again
Looks great. Lets get another ride together soon!
Todd
Thanks Todd, yea I wanted to do this before the end of the season. Now I can set some projects up for the winter.
We definately need a ride soon. I saw you mentioned New Hope in your post. That's good for me..
That's what I was thinkin man. Maybe next weekend if the weather's good. I have one or two other buddies that were talkin about getting out next weekend if it's decent outside.
And as always, the more riders, the better. We can meet out in New Hope...or for those coming from the east, my house is on the way.
I'll post something more specific as we get closer.
Talk to ya soon.
