front suspension fxdl
Please excuse if I use the wrong part description-I'm not sure what to call it. But-when I apply the brakes, (02 lowrider-recently purchased used, 16K miles) and the weight moves forward onto the front wheel, I can feel the front suspension (shocks, or tubes, or whatever it is called move up and down a couple of times as I come to a complete stop. My wife's Sportster (an 06) does not do this. It is not a severe motion, and nothing that causes any loss of stability, but I wonder if it is supposed to do it. A salesperson at Harley that I trust and who seems to be honest and know what he is talking about, told me Dyna's will do this. Is this correct, or should I pursue this with the service dep't? Bike is under warranty for another 2 weeks.
thanks,
Bill

Yeah, that pogo action is pretty annoying. The other irritating thing is that rocking horse action you get when you shift under throttle. Try a heavier oil. If you really want to make a significant improvement, get some Race Tech gold valves and springs. That will give you a whole new bike.
Progressive springs will solve that for less than a hundred bucks. Might as well put their 412 shocks on the back too. My bike rides way better than new since I did just that.
