What do you all always carry in your small tool carrier bag . So far I'm thinking all fuses , allen head set and wrench for belt adjustment .... Any good recomendations for approx 100 mile runs out here in southern California ? Thanks .
i have one of these http://www.jpcycles.com/product/910-050(love it)
and a small cresent wrench(1 or 2 inch)got it at sears(craftsman)
and a bungie cord and ive had no problems
That looks like a great combination of tools for a very fair price.
I bought a smallish roll bag from some off-road Jeep outfit and stuffed it with all the end wrenches, allen wrenches, etc. that I had used on it for normal maintenance and general tightening of external hardware, in the smallest version that I could find. I added some electrical tape, a 10" and 6" crescent wrench, some parachute cord, bungies, tiny roll of baling wire and shop towel. A pair of vice grips can come in handy, so I at least carry a small pair and a multi-tool. A small roll of tygon tubing can also come in handy for fuel transfer.
However, one of the handiest things that I have ever carried was a 15' piece of lightweight nylon rope. I've towed several bikes with it to the nearest town.
