And thanks but it'll still cost a lot to get them to the UK - plus the time involved and risk of loss etc. Why do that when I can buy Willie & Max new here - all I wanted to know was if anyone has the Willie & Max bags what size fits the Dyna - simples!

Derv
Derv,
A lot of the guys who have sportsters use the Willie and Max compact slants, so I know they'll work, the newer sportsters (Iron and Nightster) have the indicators further forward and they fit, so I should think they'll fit the dyna, im gonna get some for my street bob.
The websites have dimensions so check them and get your measuring tape out! That's what I'm gonna do. I'm waiting for some detachable side plates for a sissy bar so I need to wait to see how much of the fender they obstruct.
Cheers HOD. The length of the bags doesn't really bother me as much as the height, my rear indicators are on home made custom mounts anyway, so if they need to be relocated further back I'll just make some new ones. I'm not sure how low the the W&Ms sit, (i.e how much adjustment there is in the yoke ) and so a bit concerned that they'll end up sat on the pipes! I've ordered a pair of bag stays from V.Twin Mania in Edinburgh which should be here tomorrow, so I'll wait 'til they're fitted and then measure it all up to see what size bags will fit on there then. If they foul anything after I've bought them I'm sure they can be adapted in some way. There's always a way to make anything fit!
