The clutch cable appears incorrectly routed.
The idea is that it loops over the handlebar, so that it can run parallel to the steering head at that point, to prevent the turning of the handlebars from having an impact on the clutch release action.
If a bike has a style of handlebar that prevents the cable from passing over, then it should pass under, so that it can still align with the steering head.
I will look into that, would hate to have a problem from the get go
JaronB,
Im down near the OR/WA border in Vancouver. I read the threads on the meet&greet, sounds like a great time. I will keep my eye out for it, but not sure if I will be able to make it. My family and friends go white water rafting around then, but I would def like to try.
Back when I had my ol Camaro I started swapping chrome for billet aluminum that I ended up clear coating just so I wouldn't have to keep polishing all the time.
Wax on,
wax off
Damn, that would've saved my elbows/sholders. Thanks for the tip
Congrat's on the new bike, I love my new Dyna. Went from an 09 Triumph Bonnie T100 to the 2011 Dyna Super Glide. Wish I would have bought the Dyna first and been done with it.
Congrats on the new bike. I live up in Battle Ground, lots of great riding around here. Maybe take the liscence plate off and see if you like the fender better. You can always move the plate lower.
