I really like the look of it though. Makes the speedo much easier to read too.
Hmmm the length with mine wasn't the problem, I tried making it longer (I just bought 1/4 gas hose at the auto store) but the problem was the short distance between the frame and the tank bibb. If I tried to raise my tank anymore than 2 inches it looked to me like the line would kink.

Yes the 2" tank lift makes the bike look so much better I amazed that H.D. doesn't do this OEM. Add yes it is much easier to see the speedo especially with a full face helment. And it also makes it possible to really polish the rocker covers. If you have to you can even pull the wires out from under the frame neck without sliding the tank back. It is a great mod to do.

With the tank lifted like that, does it change how the bike rides or handles?

I haven't noticed any significant changes in the way it handles. I'm right behind the guy with the camera on this footage and the bike handles quick and nimble.

Did the 3" on my fat-bob. Had to move the bars a little for turn-signal clearance, but I love the way it makes the bike look.
