does anyone think if i took a nice piece of diamond plate cut to fit a round screaming eagle filter would look good??? plan on polishing it up a little

I think Hogrida06 has one like that except his is/was black. I think it looks good either way.

I used the diamond plate on my bike when I replaced the AC last year. First picture was last year and was roughed up to look like my paint. Didn't like the way it looked so I painted it black and sanded just the high points.

I found a saw blade at Lowe's that is exactly the same size as the air cleaner. I put it on there and have had several people comment on how good it looks on the bike. Best part was the cost, $12.00.

Both look good...prefer the unpainted version. Seems to match the scheme better, IMHO.

That one in the second pic really looks good.
