A day trip? So we're talking about a pair of undies, t-shirt and socks, get a tool bag and mount it above the headlight or on the downframe, stuff everything in the bag, put your condoms behind the timing cover.
Or get a cheap back pack and use that.

Thanks for all of your replies. DougsDyna, I like your mod to make the Motherwell rack fit, but I was waiting for Motherwell to make one that fits the Corbin seat without modification. Just my personal choice, yours looks great. Mikeurig, I use a toolbag and a windshield bag now for tools, spare nighttime glasses etc. I wanted to take a video camera and wet weather gear, so was looking for a little more room. I'll keep the condoms in my wallet . After searching on the Internet, I think I might have to bite the bullet and put on a sissy bar and back seat. I've been trying to avoid using a sissy bar. I might just get a Mustang tour seat instead of getting the passenger pad for the Corbin. It is actually about $140 cheaper to buy the Mustang two-up tour seat on-line than it is to buy the passenger pad for the 06 Corbin seat. Go figure. I could then use the money I save towards a sissy bar or a decent rool bag an I would have two good seating set-ups, the Corbin for solo and the Mustang for two-up and for luggage.

Has anyone put on the Harley turn signal relocation kit on their 06 Dyna, so they can put on the detachable sissy bar? If so, how easy of a job is it?

Get a roll bag. I don't know what kind mine is, but look on the bars in this pic. It works great and blocks a lot of wind too. Name: efd65180.jpg

mvlow,
I don't blame you for wating on Motherwell. I had purchased my rack before I decided to get the Corbin seat, so I had to adapt, and I really like the rack. Stays on the bike when I mount the sissy bar with luggage. Comes off quickly when I go 2up.

I installed the detachable sissy bar, and did the t/s relocation. It isn't very difficult (Harley supplies pretty good directions), takes a few hours. I really like the option of removing the sissy bar, especially when it comes time to unload to go into a motel, or camping.
I am all packed for a trip next weekend. All I have to do now is slid my stuff into the brackets, and down the road I go.
