Keith, sorry to hear about your mishap. It happens to everyone IMO. I am extremely wary of dirt and mud with my Harley due to the amount of time inviolved in cleaning it, but you got a bro who will chrome it for you and everything. That is love.

Why did you wait so long to drop your bike??
You know you just wanted to buy a new shiny derby cover, don't ya??
Mine fell over the day after I brought it home (never forget to check the kickstand/ should be down).
My derby cover looks much worse than yours (in spare parts box, now).
Anyway, a story to tell.

I hate when that happens. Looks like your lucky day! You know you wanted a new cover. I had a close one the other day changing the tires. I turned around to grab my cigar and out of the corner of my eye I see my bike easing its way off the sears jack! Good thing my leg was in the way (har har). Straps - we don't need no stinkin straps! Anyway have fun at the chrome store. - George

I have the chrome take off cover from my 05 fxdci if it would fit yours "which I'm sure it will" I'll sell it to you for 1/2 of what it's worth + shipping, PM me if your interested!
