First post here. I hope you fine folks can help me out quick. Later in the morning I'm going to see a guy selling his '06 Street Bob. I was reading these forums all morning and found out about IPB and stator problems that can happen on these bikes. My question is this a.) are these covered by a recall and b.) Will the dealer fix them for free if they haven't been done and the bike is bought used and out of warranty. I'm supposed to see the bike in 1-2 hours, so any quick reply would be greatly appreciated. Sorry to make it sound like poor planning on my part, but until last night I was set on a Victory, but now I think it's possible for me to get this bike in the same price range.
Thanks! Bad news is that site only shows a battery recall. Oh well. If I don't get any other answers, might as well use this info as a bargaining chip.
