Painting spokes.

I'm in the process of getting wy wheels and hubs powdercoated red and I want to do the spokes black. Iv'e done some research on prices and came up with $40-$50 per rim and $30-$50 per hub, fair prices I think. For the spokes and nipples to be powder coated around $1 per nipple and $1.25-$2.00 per spoke, pretty spendy I think. Then I came across this link http://www.chopperweb.net/forum/arti...icle&artid=106 and thought hmm that would be pretty cheap. Question is, has anyone done this? Iv'e seen where some have painted their lowers with epoxy appliance paint why could one not paint their spokes with the same. Price is right. Anyone see any pros or cons? Opinions please.

Of course you could use epoxy... or any other paint for that matter. It just depends on how long you want the paint to look good. In this case you get what you pay for.
