I am trying to add the Satin Chrome covers from the Softail Fat Boy Lo to my 2010 Super Glide engine. The cam and transmission side covers will fit but the primary cover will not. Can I buy the chrome covers for the Dyna and try and give them a Satin Silver look? Any ideas would be appreciated. I thought about sanding down the chrome and them having them polished to see what I get. Damn primary cover!

I called my local HD dealer and the GIRL in parts department said that the primary cover for the Softail Fat Bot Low does not fit the Dyna. I could not figure out why.
I knew it! Thanks jshull! I did not want a Sloptail. I am going to keep the Dyna and do the mods I planned on. I called a few Dealers today and with spring in the air they were all busy.
they told me the exact same thing, i figured out a longggggg time not to even tell them what im doing. I just do it. check out ebay, i got all my covers off ebay for around 100.00.

Thanks again! The first thing I did this morning was go on ebay looking. A lot of Fat Boy Lo owners are going with the Black covers. I thought I had seen your primary cover on here before.
