I know it may be an unpopular choice on the board but I have swapped out my thunderheader for v&h big shots. This is a keeper! The TH sounded awesome but I just liked the look of the 2 pipes. Each to their own.
1. OEM
2. OEM + Ultimate upgrade
3. V&H Short Shots
4. Thunderheader
5. V&H Big Shots
How do the Bigshots sound compared to the Shortshots?
Big Shots IMO are the way to go!
The best way I could describe the SS is they have a very Raw sound. Bad *** and loud but raw! The BS have the power chamber, which drive up the cost but the sound is deeper.
I picked up the BS from another HDF member (torchmaster) used in the Dyna Parts forum. He was a great seller! It's a good place to hang out is you can be patient.
