the rocket bobs seat are sweat but really expensive ! are they really that comfy with the "all gel" stucture ?
yeah man..i can ride all day on it w no issues..befire i had a lapera bare bones..not bad but uncomfortable on longer rides...my bike is bein rebuilt due to an accident but soon as im done you ll def see pics!
Ok saw the bike in person today and love the way it turned out. The crappy cell phone pics don't do it justice at all. I couldn't take any better ones since it's a blizzard here but I will this weekend after I pick it up Saturday. The seat is definitely too wide for my taste. I got home and ordered a Le Pera Bare Bones from Dennis Kirk which will be here Friday. I have a feeling it's going to be a long week....
Ok got some sunny weather and took some pics this afternoon. I tried the Le Pera and didn't care for it...didn't like the sheen and the shape did not flow with the bike at all in my opinion. Plus it really wasn't much narrower, just less kick up in the back. I'm going to keep the Danny Gray. I put a few hundred miles on it this weekend and it's incredibly comfortable and very well made. Plus I like the leather. I'm still thinking I need to add some silver to the lettering in some way so may have that done here in the next few weeks.
Just a few questions on the fuel caps ...
I have a similar set up with RSD caps ,how did you fasten the left hand cap to
the tank ? and what have you done about a fuel gauge? as I didn't notice a gauge on your replacement digital speedometer
RSD just came out with a dummy cap to replace the fuel gauge so that's what I use. I just use the dummy light thats on the digital gauge to watch my gas.
