I went with the Joker Machine ones. Quality product and very bright although they aren't wired to work as running lights.
I was going to flip them around so they were inside the tubes but that would put them pretty close together and it might not have been clear to stupid people about which way I intended to turn.
I mounted them under the lower tree so that they're not hidden behind the lower part of my windshield on those few occasions. I checked the travel and my lowers won't hit the signals.
If you want something to get you by while you're shopping, I've got a set of gloss black OEM fronts with all the hardware to do the "under $50 pinch bolt mod" including a set of spacers as mentioned in an earlier post.
Im sorry but my bikes in storage right now...i could get ya a pic this weekend...as u can see the pic in my sig i did not do them yet.If u take the siginal off and the mount youll see the swivel and the mount with the hole...simply take out the pinch bolt and make a spacer the size of the recess ..then get a longer bolt and your set...its much easier to see by the pic...and my a/c is a hillside monster element...the cover is the stock football that i cut to fit the element..then go to your dealer and pick out your fav a/c sticker and your done...if youd like ill get ya some pics of the mounts...let me know..
Do the Drag Spec fit on the newer bobs? I read somewhere they they didn't work right? Talkin about the ones that bolt to the tree and are kinda low profile. Can any one confirm?
