Hey,

I just got a 2003 dyna lowrider with about 5500mi a few months ago. Lately when I go to start the bike, if it doesn't start on the 1st turnover, the starter will just spin. It feels like there's no grab - no engaging of the starter clutch. It seems to be worse when the bike is warm/hot. Any ideas?

Prolly seloniod or bendex on the starter motor

 

my battery was 3years old on my dyna and it did the same thing .esp when hot .i thought it was the starter for sure,but i took the cheap easy route first and no probs since . a new battery on a used bike is always good insurance anyway.
