Removing tank emblems.

Hey all,
Am thinking of stripping the emblems on my 2010 SB with Demin black paint. What is the safest and easiest way to remove them?

Heat with a hair dryer then just pull them off. Very easy and fast to do.

is there an optimal time to remove these? like in the first year...just wondering if there is ever a color difference after several years like say the rest of the tank fading from the sun....

I use a piece of piano wire.Doesn't scratch paint and takes them off fairly quick.

use a heat gun or least a blow dryer. a credit card will help to start the lift. any residual glue can be cleaned up by soaking it with wd-40, then the glue will roll up off the surface like a booger. Fishing line might help cut the glue during the lift as well

Just took mine off my 09 Bob. Used fishing line and wd-40. Googone for any left over glue. No discoloring, but make sure you clean the take if remounting new badges. Good luck
