Console odometer switch
I took my bike in for it's 1000 mile service yesterday. The last thing I did before turning over the keys was to switch over to the odometer from the time to check my mileage.
When I picked it up after work later that day the switch no longer worked. The service guy couldn't tell me why it stopped working, other than maybe it got wet when they washed it (5 hours previous) and that it might dry out and start working again.
They ordered me another switch under warranty, but I was wondering if anyone had any idea why this might happen suddenly like that.
