I am looking for opinions on seats for my 2011 Dyna Wide Glide. I just got it and the stock passenger pillon isnt cuttin it. I am toosing between the Touring and the Sundowner. Welcome anyones comments and opinions for what would be best for me and my passengers. Thnaks !
Bump to get your thread back near the top for help.
I don't own a wide glide. But for my 2 up riding on the fxdc I switched to a Mustang vitage solo and pillion...both of which feel better than stock. If I were you, I'd look into the Wide Glide threads using the search button and find out what people are using. Try not to make a quick impulse buy, and wait until you've truly weighed all your options.

Don't know if you are taller or not, but I had the Sundowner on mine last season and it felt like I was eating my bars and it put me too close (for me) to the forward controls. Took me a few days to get used to the position (moved me about 2" forward). I am a fairly new rider so it was difficult to adjust. Hope it helps, just my 2 cents.
Just following up with pics. I love the comfort of this seat so much, I hate how the factory solo seat feels now. I'm looking into a another solo seat for when I'm riding solo (most of the time).
I am pretty happy with the solo seat (but I was also fairly happy with my Sportster's solo seat until I took a trip to Phoenix...but I digress) and would love to find either a solo pillion or a solo pillion combination that would provide more padding for the rider. I mostly ride solo and like not having to change my seat when riding with a passenger so the one-piece two up seats don't do it for me.
