I made some late summer/early fall mods to the Bob. I added the Billet Shifter and Brake Lever for the forward controls, along with the Billet heel peg levers and Skull heel pegs. I also changed the air cleaner from chrome to black denim, added the new Skull Gas Cap and Skull LED Fuel Gauge and had alittle pinstripping done on the front fender and tank while I was at Delmarva Bike Week in Ocean City last month. All in all a very good end to the summer season.
Hey man...Let me ask you...I see you did the shift lever and brake lever. I, too, have the slotted heel rests (different footpegs, shifter pegs, brake pedal), and the slotted shift lever...the only thing I have left to get is the brake lever. But in looking at it, I just don't know how it's installed. How was the install? Pretty simple/straightforward? Like I said...it's the only thing I have left...at least on that part of the bike ...but I've been kinda putting it off because I'm not sure if I'm going to have a hard time with the install.
Thanks man. Your bike's looking great!

Very easy and straight forward on changing the brake lever. It took less than 10 minutes. It would look great on your WG.

It looks like there's some kind of pin in there holding something to something Yeah..you're right...it would look great on my bike...I've been saying that for a long time now...and I really want one that matches my heel rests and shift lever...so I think I'm going to be going out to Zanotti's tonight
One thing I noticed....when you guys buy forward controls as upgrades (i.e. they're not stock), you have chrome mounts. The stock forward control mounts on a wide glide are black. And while I don't mind the black (I like black and chrome contrasting), I still think the chrome ones look better. I wish HD would've given us WG owners the chrome ones stock...but why would they do that and lose out on the opportunity to make more money off us [:@] I just don't want to spend another 200 bucks for the chrome right and left
