Default lower fork sliders

FXDB 2010 fork sliders have SHOWA raised letters on the inner faces. Am I missing something? First it was made in China parts and now this, made in Japan? If the MOCO uses parts from Japan, is the current meltdown there going to affect Harley production? I see where today, GM is halting production of pickup trucks because of parts shortages from Japan.
What next,
Horse

The front ends on HDs have been made in Japan for many years. They've used Showa forks for ages and ages............ that's why your standard sockets never seem to fit right up front

Harley has been using Showa suspension parts since the middle 70's I believe.....you are in for alot of surprises if you think thats where the foreign parts end....
