As the weather is getting colder here i was thinking of getting some sort of windshield, but i havnt seen any on a bike with gimp hangers. Does anybody have gimps with a windshield.
I used to but I kept getting my armpit hair caught on the edge of the windshield![sm=happybounce.gif] Sorry, I'm just kidding but your question and my imagination sort of collided there.
Thats a good one lol. What i am looking to do is keep some of the cold air off my face, and yet maintain a clean look. I was thinking of a wind vest, ive seen them with the stock bars and thought they looked great, im curious to see how the wind vest would look with the gimps. Anyways here to keeping the pits in the wind. Peace
Clayman,
Here is a picture of the tallest windvest they make...I want to say that it is a 14" and it is adjustable 2" to go to 16" or down to 12"...I can't remember the exact size but if you look at the website, you will see that there are two models...If you have the Black Gimp Hangers, it may not look to bad....I only use mine on long highway trips, because I prefer the wind and the look, however it does the trick...I have a feeling I will use it more this winter...Hope this helps

Yea Yea i know it was just an idea but what do you do. So tell me anubisss what do you do when you go for a ride in mid december whan its -8 out.. The way i see it i have two options 1. a full face helmet or 2. some sort of wind protection.
I had my windshield on with my new bars once so far........going to the SC Rally, due to rain on the way there and on the way back....hated it...but, it did help keep my ablity to see!
