Hey guys I've got an 04 fxd and I was riding the other night and I realized that my brake light stays on when let off the brake. I haven't changed anything electrical wise. Any ideas on what might of happened? I checked all the fuses and all the connections look clean. Any ideas on what I should do would be very helpful. thanks guys

 

I would check the brake light switch. Could be either the front or rear switch has gone bad which is causing your brake lights to stay on. You could also check the brake peddle and brake lever to ensure they are properly positioned on the brake light switch.

 

Have you changed grips or handlebars lately or over the winter ?

 

Definately the switch. Probably front. It seems to be a problem with em. It's a pain to change also, requires cutting wires and splicing...
