Take the time (10 min) to remove the battery and battery box first. You'll be glad you did. It will give you much more access to manipulate the wiring.

You probably have it already, but in case you do not, here is the instruction sheet PDF for the PCV for '09-'11 Dynas.

I just did mine today, like was mentioned before, take the battery and box out first. There's not much room under the seat so you'll have to play around with the wires to get it to fit. Mine is crammed in there tight and could barely fit the seat back on. Alex from Fuel Moto said it wouldn't hurt it if it was crammed in tight, I'm just worried about the other wires though. I will try and fit it in better once the weather warms up a bit. My fingers were pretty numb today out in the garage. Seems to be working fine, can't wait to take it out on the road though, Hopefully in the first week of April as we just got a ton of snow here. Good luck and let us know how you made out and if you found any tips.

I did the PC3, pretty easy, but being a larger unit, I did have to play around a bit to find a place to put it.

I spent the most time with the O2 sensors, since I was installing a new exhaust system at the same time.

My PC came closely mapped to my proposed mods and ran absolutely great from the minute it started.

Overall its a pretty easy install, you just need to manipulate where the wires go, was a PIA with the security box they installed under the seat but i got it to fit. One thing to be careful of is when u put back on the left side box the long middle bolt make sure the wires are clear of it. i didnt realize when i did it that i pinched a wire back there and my security totally locked me out. i had to take it to the dealer to figure out what was wrong with it. Boy did i feel dumb once they told me. Thankfully the Guys at Zylstra HD in Ames, IA are great guys and did all the work free of charge. Good luck.

I suggest dielectric grease on the connectors just in case.

Secure the harness (where the PC connects to stock harness) well and then check on it off and on for the next week or so to ensure it hasn't moved forward and bumped up against the rear cylinder.

May also consider filling in the hole in the rear fender that the wires to the rear lighting runs through. This hole is cut well oversized and filling it in some (I just used 100 mph tape) helps keep water and grime out of the underseat compartment.

I apologize if I am robbing this thread but I have to ask about the o2 sensor issue. I had problems when I first put my slip ons on my bob but I just put V & H ProPipe 2 into 1 on my bike and couldn't get the damn o2 sensors in without them leaking no matter what I did (ok, part of it might be that I am a girl and have never worked on my bike alone before). I called Keith and they sent me 02 plugs for under $15 and I was able to completely eliminate the o2 problem completely. Was cheap, a piece of cake to install, and no more tying those damn wires up. Defin. worth the $$.
As for the instal of PC, again, easy as pie. So easy a girl can do it. Just a bit of a pain to move everything around - such a tight fit - but keep some extra zip ties on hand and you'll be golden.
Good luck.
