I'm getting ready to trade in my eGlide for a street bob... time for a change, love the pure practicality of the eGlide (I can go grocery shopping), but it's time for something with a bit more of an edge.
So I'm going for the street bob.. with about +3K in added parts on it (Roland Sands vintage apes.. etc)
So here is my question.
I want to put a sissy bar on it - and have spec'ed the HD detachable side plates (the only ones that come in black).
yes you will, when my dad picked up mine at the hd dealership, they sold him the relocation kit and its like 30 bucks. to bad i didnt need it since i dont run turn signals. but if you choose not to get the relocation kit then you will be missing the bolt for the back mounts. let me know if you have any specific questions or problems. i just installed mine this past weekend. very convenient. make sure u get the rack for the sissy bar too. works well with the sissy bar
bags.
You don't need to relocate them as such, just buy the kit that replaces the bars that attach the signals to the fender strut. They will still be in the same location. You will also need the docking hardware. Part # should be 53968-06C for the "relocation kit", and 53961-06 for the docking hardware.

I use the quick detach docking hardware and then added the turn signal relo kit when I added bags.
wow, aint seen that relocation kit before, is that HD?... dont know what i think about it(but as long as your happy with it thats all that matters). i went with the laydown plate with T.S. relocation, but with the newer style fender that may not be an option.
