Default how tall are your apes?

I am an average height guy - 6' 0" and am putting 16" apes on my FXDB. On my 2005 WG I had 21" apes... but with this new frame I'm concerned that my hands will be higher than my shoulders.. which is something I don't want.

So, how tall are your apes? and how tall are you? AND how do they fit?

Depends how you sit in the saddle, but I just put a 2" riser on my stock bars and my hands are above my shoulders if I slouch. I am also 6 foot.

16" with 3/4" offset risers. I'm 6'1" and in the saddle they are Aprox 1-2" below my shoulders. Gives the appearance of tall apes without comprising the ride as much as taller apes.

15"-16"ish apes + 2" risers + c&c sport tour seat + 6'3" = hands right at shoulder height.

I have 16" apes and I'm 5'10. My hands are just about and inch above my shoulders.

I'm 6' with 15" apes. I also have a C&C seat that sits me down and back an inch.
