Nice! I had close to the exact same results when my bike was dynod. Makes sense, since our tunes are similar. I have the same intake, same tuner, different 2-2 exhaust (V&H BSS with BCT QQB). But a 2-2 none the less. I've seen a few members say their tunes are right around there. So I figure that's the norm.
FWIW, I had almost one more hp than you...but almost one less ft/lb than you. So they may have ever so slighty tweeked them differently...or of course just the differences in temp, humidity, elevation, engine, etc, etc. Either way...congrats! Enjoy.
Edit: Is your dealer a small town shop, or something? Just wondering...the few dealers I know of around here have their own dynos and technicians. Did you have to pay an arm and a leg for someone to come in? Maybe you could find out where the guy that tuned it is located. He may be a good indie prospect? Since you know he made his money, and HD made theirs too.
It is a smallish dealer, they arent the biggest in the area but I get treated well there and they are always friendly. I ended up paying 350 out the door, I probably could have beat the price in Dallas but I only had to go about 4 miles and that is a good deal for me
That's great for what you did, more than I would have expected.
Out of curiousity, did you feel a seat-of-the-pants improvement? I didn't when I went to a stage 1, though my top end speeds indicated an improvement. That was with 2 into 1's, Big Sucker and PC. She ran great, but I just couldn't feel any added power, just better sound.
RedMonster we have to meet up some time so I can put my eyes on those wheels in person! I have fallen in lust with your wheels. You going to the Rick Fairless Bike show this weekend? I'll be up that way Sunday.
I had the bike dynoed finally this morning. I am really happy with the numbers but even happier with the way she is running.
74.27 HP
90.49 TQ
with just the pipes, heavy breather, and race tuner.
Those are great numbers bro and more important is the way she rides so as long as your good with that .... thats what matters the numbers or for forums..... But that is a nice little pick up from just pipes and heavy breather must feel like a new bike huh?? You should post the sheet just to look at the tune. Enjoy and be safe bro
