Just drove home and I have to say night & day difference is not even what you can describe these pipes over stock...It's going to take a little getting use to the dB level being up there now, but now the bike sounds alive and moves out pretty nicely!
I had previously done the Gary7 Cycle Shack Baffle switch and it was really loud....but I didn't like the stock look, so I bought the Big Shots near X-mas (chrome version). Joe was nice enough to powder coated them with flat black and white on the tips.
They aren't as loud as the Gary7 mod, but they're a lot deeper sound.
bss quite baffles are the best sounding ever made.....
^^^I know this might be hard to believe, but there's a better sound for those pipes than the stock V&H quiet baffles.
To the OP, if you want the best sound out of your pipes, and can spring the extra money, BCT (Big City Thunder) is by far your best option for quiet baffles...or any baffle for that matter. Had them both and BCT build quality, sound, design, and engineering are far superior. Research them for yourself and see what you think.
