Default My 1st Mods..

Finally finished my first mods on my 1st Harley. Learned A LOT!!!! Thanks to a good friend who wrenches on bikes and has ALL the tools and patience to teach me.
What I learned:
1)True Track Rocks and should most DEFINITELY be installed with the rear wheel OFF!! but the brand new Harley Engine Guard(still in the box) is now for sale.(guess i gotta get a Lindby)
2)The Harley Detatch Saddlebag kit + Docking Kit = a lot of Spare hardware which can be confusing at 3am...
3)Loctite 243 is your friend...maybe your best friend on a dyna...
4)Some items that are freshly powdercoated WILL need to be sanded at their connection points or they WILL NOT fit properly (see the air cleaner slam you in the leg at 75mph).
5)I REALLY love my bike
6)I can't wait to do more MODS!!!!!!!!!!!
Next: Front Turn Signal relocation (to the forks)
[Future Mods??: Wide Glide rear fender??, Flat/Satin Black paint, Apes??, Fat Boy Headlight?? Powdercoat the wheels??]
Mostly, I plan on riding the SH*T out this bob!!!!
P.S. Thanks to all of you in this forum for posting stories and advice it helped..A LOT!!

So far, I love 'em. They do everything they're supposed to. I'm just waiting to see how the docking kit is gonna hold up with all the vibration and pot holes, etc..
