ive removed the rear pegs on my 2011 wide glide.
as the belt guard mounts to the left side rear foot rest,
you have to make a bracket to hold it in place,
or buy the bracket from the street bob.
the part number is 49216-06, cot me Ł10GBP.
hth anyone looking to do the same.
Looking to do the same to mine. Got the street bob bracket, but don't have a jack to un-spring the rear wheel just yet. Have to get it up to clear the peg mount bolts on the right side. My wife rides her own so I have no need for the passenger pegs. Actually got the pegs mounted on my highway bar right now til I can replace them with something a little more stylish. I've read on here that the bolts can be tough to get out, but we'll see.
Looks like the exhaust side would be a b**ch to get out. I was checking it out and it seam like the fender lines right up to the bolt...
