Not a pro here by any means but I do my own powder coating as well. I have aharbor freight gun and a crude home made overn that burns propane. I have done many parts on my old ZRX and I will be doing the tank when I take off the old decal for the new emblem. I am thinking 80% glass black with the 95% clear top coat. I am seriously considering trying the powdercoat primer fo better adhesion and to cut down on any possible outgassing. I was going to have my buddy spray paint it but he said I have the powder setup and that would be much better so I think I might give it a whirl.

I think it looks good, but those pipes need somethin.. I tend to think the whole blacked out everything, gets to be little overkill. But , I do like em evenly balanced with chrome and polished alum..

That looks real good.
Do you do any of the transparent powdercoating, and if so could you explain how that process takes place? Is it just a thinner/lighter coating?

I have seen alot of streetbobs on this forum that have tried to do the powdercoating theme (mostly red). Personally, I think you have finally got the combination correct. The bike looks great.
